Newspaper fast forward: 2017

The Southern Newspaper Publishers Association wants your innovations, inventions, and outright revolutionary ideas for what "newspapers" will look like in 10 years. And they are willing to pay $2,000 for the best stuff.

Here's the contest pitch ...

Think big.
Think radical.
Think compelling.
No cliches.

Push newspapers to imagine new concepts and propel them into stimulating debates. But consider ways that get newspapers back on the growth train. Start with a blank slate, a white sheet of paper, or a dark computer screen, and go from there. Anyone can enter!

Almost all evidence of its existence appears to have been erased from the internet, but this sounds an awful lot like the Tomorrow's Newspaper Contest that used to be sponsored by SND.
