Graphics conference postponed

The Blog hears that Karl Gude has been phoning folks today to let them know the Information Graphics Conference at Michigan State's School of Journalism has been scuttled for this year. That's too bad: The workshop and conference looked fabulous, with an amazing lineup of graphics talent scheduled to speak.

The videos that Karl has rolled out for the conference are a terrific resource in themselves (click above to see Karl at Newsweek, where he used to work). The Blog's been enjoying watching these great glimpses of the pros talking about their work and the creative process.

Word is that Karl will try to get the conference together again next year, possibly in New York City. Best of luck to Professor Gude in that endeavor. The Blog hopes you make the conference happen and pledges to be there when you do!
